On January 9, 2003, the Honorable Margaret Cooper of the 98th Judicial District Court, Travis County, Texas, closed the receivership established in 1998 in the matter of Kairos Financial Services (USA), LLC; El Crucero, Inc.; Thrift Dimensions, Inc. dba Economic Soultions Information Center; Carlos J. Hinojosa individually and dba Economic Solutions; Francisco Loya, Jr individually and dba Asset Management Services, LTD, Rene Hinojosa, Sr., Rene Hinojosa, Jr.; Christopher E. Limbrick; J.O. Marrs and Ronald K. Mouton, Sr. The action was brought by the Texas Attorney General at the request of the Texas Securities Commissioner. A total of approximately $3.2 million dollars was recovered for restitution to investors in connection with the action. The action was brought along with an injunctive action alleging securities fraud in the sale of prime bank instruments. The cause number was 99-01073. The court appointed receiver was Brian E. Riewe.
