Stellar Content, Easier to Navigate – Good Looking, Too

The Texas State Securities Board’s new website is designed to provide the investing public and industry professionals more efficient ways to access the most relevant content.

The site offers new ways to stay connected to the State Securities Board, including Twitter (@TxSSB), and expands the material available on our Facebook page. The Agency’s digital distribution offerings – news, civil, criminal, and administrative case alerts, notice of board meetings, changes to the rules, and more – will be expanded and reorganizedin the months to come. The site's cyber address has changed to www.ssb.texas.gov.

All sections of the site have an overview page, available at the top of the drop-down menu for each section. Below the overview pages, the site is further divided into discrete sections that reflect the Texas State Securities Board’s mission to protect investors.

For Investors features a main page covering all aspects of the Agency’s investor education program, followed by specific sections on General Investing, Seniors, Military, and Teachers. The investor education site is also available in Spanish.

For Securities Professionals is divided into sections for Dealer & Investment Adviser Registration, Enforcement, Inspections & Compliance, and Regulation of Securities Offerings. This section includes search functions for Securities and Certificates of Registration.

Besides the complete Act and Rules, the Texas Securities Act & Board Rules section contains information on Intrastate Crowdfunding in Texas, recent and proposed changes to rules, and schedules of Forms and Fees.

News & Publications offers the latest in news, investor alerts, and publications, as well as commentary from Agency officials. Civil, administrative, and criminal actions are also included. Previous news and enforcement actions are available in the archives listings on News & Publications pages.

An overview of the State Securities Board contains information about the Agency’s mission, the five members of the Board who oversee the Agency, locations of offices, and Agency reports.
